This is my third time through the entire bible and I am almost there! This time around I am reading the, "Chronological Study Bible." It has been interesting to read the books in chronological order rather than the order they appear in the Bible typically. I found it most helpful through the gospels!
The bible I am reading is the "One year Chronological Bible", but I am going to finish after 2 years and 1 month. (maybe 2 months) I have never put a time limit on myself. Many folks commit to a certain time period and get discouraged or overwhelmed.
I just attempt to be in God's Word as much as I can and to read whatever I can that day. Some days I get a nice quiet lunch with my bible and other days, I grab a few verses during the day.
But at ALL times, I pray that God will bless the reading of HIS Holy Word!

I have read through The Chronological Bible and found it very good, too. I love the various translations. We are currently reading through The Scoffield King's James version. This bible was given to my husband by the Pastor in 1959 when he was saved. I wish I'd kept count of how many times we've read through the bible over these years. Glad you are keeping count. When you get to be my age you'll be very glad :o)
