Ditto from our house! We just crossed one year without it, this week, and I had a reminder in my calendar to reassess our decision. Haha, nothing TO assess. We don't miss it at all! Can't believe how much we were paying for cable... Though I must admit I do still find The History Channel stuff on Netflix sometimes. (not something you're tempted by I know!). :)
Your title for this post made me VERY curious, and then I had to laugh when I clicked over and read it. So funny! So true! :)
We've been TV-less for...hmmm...I don't know how many years now. I LOVE it. We do let the boys watch DVDs, but that's so much easier to limit than a TV.
I agree. I stopped watching TV in March, when I got a new job and my hours were incompatible with the very few shows I watched. And I found that I lost interest in them very quickly. We don't have cable either, so the kids watch PBS and that's about it. I keep hoping maybe the TV will blow up all together and I can replace the TV stand with bookshelves.
Striving to be found in Christ, without any of my own righteousness, but only righteousness that comes from faith in Him. Yearning to know Him and live by the POWER of His resurrection...(Phil 3:9-10)

AGREED 100%!!!! I love that our tv cabinet is only open on family movie night, simply for the use of the dvd player.
However...the computer does allow us to watch quite a bit. Still, not nearly the amount we used to watch.

Enjoy your TV-free summer! :)
Nothing to miss if you ask me, not that you did but....
