Tiny Talk Tuesday helps parents focus on one of the many joys of parenting - the funny things that our little ones (and sometimes big ones) have to say.
Join in the fun and record the Tiny Talk overheard in your house! Publish a post on your blog and link us to the laughs. Then be sure to link to the blog carnival on this post so more bloggers can join in the fun.
The guidelines can be found here if you need them.

C (23 months old) does not pronounce the "d" sound at the beginning of words...
C's word: Man-uel
Real word: Daniel
C's word: Nanimal
Real word: Danimal
C's word: Navid
Real word: David

C's favorite question is "Wah happen?" He asks this over and over and over in the same minute, so there really isn't a good answer.

C's word: Wach Is
Real Word: Watch This
And I hear this all day long. It is often followed by something really silly, like C taking his hand and moving it quickly through the air. Other times he making a hoping movement. Or he'll move something around really quickly. He LOVES this game.

I just love listening to kids as they learn to talk. The words they come up with and the things they go on and on and on and on about always make me smile. C sounds like a precious little character, it's funny the things they find so amazing and amusing isn't it :-)
So cute!!! my girl doesn't say c correctly yet...so funny to hear them talk! moms can almost always understand moer than any one else!
so cute!! I love that stage of speaking when it's just a letter or two that sounds different! And the "wach this!" is adoreable!
I need to chill about speech. I have three kids and the younger two (4 and 2) are both in the rudimentary speech stages...and I am desperate for them to get beyond the one-letter-different stage. :) I think it's just because I've been waiting to have more than one child to talk to for so freaking long! :)
(BTW, in case anyone is wondering, my 4yo has Down's, which is why she isn't talking yet.)
That is just so cute. I love listening to children learning to speak, they come up with some really cute pronunciations.
Blessings
