D (age 4) was talking to his little brother, C (age almost 2):
D: You get to be one, then two, then three, and then you get to hit and do lots of things.
Me: (hearing that at three you get to hit) You get to what?
D: Hit. That's what I did when I was three.
*Lovely. Now hitting people is something to look forward to!

Yep, that's what you want to hear your children say they look forward to. Oh boy.
Oh, I can just picture my Tinkabelle telling the Monkey Boy something like that! She's already saying things like "when you get to my age..." and "way back when I was your age" (a whole 5 years ago!)

LOL!! I thought he meant play tee-ball or hit a pinata at a party;) Funny he remembers hitting at a certain age:)
