C (age 22 months) has moved on from begging to play at the sink each day. He has started to alternate that activity with his new found ability to drive his mother insane in the pantry…
Once again, he pulls over a chair and brings a large mixing spoon…
Once he is in position, he opens up his favorite container….the popcorn kernels.
He loves to mix and mix the kernels. Sometimes he likes to mix a little too hard and kernels go flying all over the place. Oh it is such fun…FOR HIM. Not so much for mom.
Of course, I had to laugh one night when Eric and I decided to make some popcorn and realized we were going to have a bonus side item with it….raisins.

You can make your boy a corn sensory tub maybe that helps:)))))
hehe silly boy!! I am with Patricia he would love a popcorn sensory bin!
Isn't it fun how they decide what's their new favorite thing to do? So random sometimes. I'd love for you to link this up to this week's It's Playtime party.

How funny! Wonder what would happen to those raisins if you tried to "pop" them along with the popcorn! :)
We did a rice box last year and the boys LOVED it! http://boysrulemylife.blogspot.com/2009/10/rice-box.html
I was going to do a popcorn box this year, but for some reason it just didn't happen. Maybe I didn't want to be sweeping 5 times a day again this year... LOL! :)
This made me laugh. We ran out of high shelves to store all of the breakable stuff and finally installed a pantry door lock to save our sanity.
