National Aquarium Field Trip: Jellies

IMG_7712 Oh my goodness.  I had a blast at the aquarium photographing the jellyfish.  It was the first time I had my Canon Rebel XS with me on this field trip.  I had the standard 18-55mm lens on it because it was the only one I owned at the time.  Now, I am only a beginner, but the right camera does amazing stuff!

I love these photos, but  I don’t know what to do with them…yet.

I think I’ll  frame them somewhere.  They just begged, “FRAME ME!”.  Maybe in the kids bathroom because there is an “underwater” theme.

I would also love to find a contest to enter…just have to find one.

Hard to believe that I had as much fun photographing these jellyfish as I do when I take shots of my kids.

Of course, the kids really are cuter…

Very cool! We hope to visit the aquarium in Chicago next weekend. I've never been and am so excited! (It's also where Alicia works so all the more fun!)

Gotta frame those photos. That was one of our biggest mistakes when Dave did nature and photographed as a hobby, we hever framed stuff. He did all slide stuff back then. Now we have no photos to share all these years later. The thousands of weddings he did don't count as I don't want someoneelses wedding photo on my wall, LOL
