Mommy + new camera lens = lots of photos

So, I got a new lens for my camera.  And I have been having lots of fun with it.  My son’s baby book might never have a picture actually put in it, but I assure you that it isn’t for a lack of choices.

Love the look on this little guys face. 

There is something about black and white shots of little people that I just adore.

Especially when they are wearing contrasting stripes.  That works nicely.

C likes to chat with me during these sessions.  He has a lot to say.  I believe right now he is thanking me for the camera lens cover that he came across on the floor.

The lens does a lovely job outside!   Now, what is this child so happy about?

Oh, it’s is his daddy!

Daddy makes this little one just crack up like no one else can!

The lens does a lovely job indoors as well, capturing that precious face!

And even daddy, who doubted the lens, had his own fun picture session with C.   C loves this door toy!  Peek-a-boo!

Without a doubt, outdoors is truly my favorite place to go for photos.  Taking a few moments to study the grass is an important endeavor.

 

Lounging around on a blanket in the sunshine works for me too!  And look…he found that camera lens over again!  No, it isn’t really considered a toy, but it seems to work well when I am taking his picture.

Oh what a precious little face!

I have a lot to learn about shutter speed and f-stops, but I couldn’t have a cuter 8 month old to practice on.

And yes, I am proudly biased!
