The amount of snow was amazing! Our house...

the road wasn't plowed in the morning...

But our little digger was rearing to go...

and the kids were just in heaven playing on the walls of snow!

Eventually the plow arrived...

and everyone grabbed a spot to watch him do his work!

Our sidewalks were shovelled.

It was time for some sledding fun!

This little guy never ceased to amaze us.

Only three years old and he hacked it just like the rest of them for HOURS! He slides down on his own and carries the sled back up with the rope tie on that daddy created.

While waiting his turn (which he does quite graciously now), he tried a pool kickboard...

Then we let him have a turn on the real thing...

It has been quite an adventure. We are feeling a bit cooped up, but have lived through the historic snowfall that will be referenced for years to come!

Your kids sure do have some energy. Mine would have been complaining after five minutes that they were cold and tired. Guess that's why we live in fl. I love all the pics!
Looks like everyone had fun! We live on the eastern side of Maryland (closer to the beach) and I can't remember ever getting this much snow. I can't get over the picture of the shoveled sidewalk, those walls of snow are huge!
I can't imagine that kind of snow! I remember when I was in kindergarten we had a blizzard and there was like 20" of snow, but that is unbelievable. Snow, EVERYWHERE!! The kids are real troopers and look like they were having a blast!!
So much fun! We had a much harder time getting Sammy to play in it! Glad you guys had so much fun!
You got some great shots! Our 4yo could hardly handle how much energy it took to go sledding but loved it anyway!
Dave and I both totally enjoyed the photos! What a riot for the kids! What a ton of snow!
Hi Mary, I haven't been around in awhile. Glad I came by today. So enjoyed seeing the kids having such fun and all these great pictures.
Your kids are such great ages to enjoy the huge piles. And you even have the baby to give YOU an excuse to stay inside! ;o)
Great pix.
