Tiny Talk Tuesday

Tiny Talk Tuesday helps parents focus on one of the many joys of parenting - the funny things that our little ones (and sometimes big ones) have to say.

Join in the fun and record the Tiny Talk overheard in your house! Publish a post on your blog and link us to the laughs. Then be sure to link to the blog carnival on this post so more bloggers can join in the fun.

The guidelines can be found here if you need them.

At the dinner table...

K (age 7): That's why I like when daddy puts us to bed.
Mom: Because he says funny things?
K: Yeah. He says silly things when he is tired. Like when he said, "Pink-a-lickous." (instead of Pinkalicious)

(yes, poor tired daddy)

K was out cold by 8 PM one night and T (age 5) was still reading books with her reading light on the bottom bunk. I bent down to talk to her...

Mom: K is very tired and she is asleep. You need to be quiet.
T: I am trying to go to sleep too!
Mom: You are? (noticing the book she is reading)
T: Yes, but my books keep interrupting me!

(be quiet books!)

Love Tiny Talk Tuesday:) It's soo much fun remembering the funny things they say:)

I love that Daddy sounds silly when he sleepily reads... I've been there!! Although I have to say that pinkalicious can be a difficult word to manage at ANY time of the day for me:)

You know, Abram did become Abraham, so certainly Abe can become Abraham, too!
