Dear C (5 months),While you have been neglected on this blog, neglected is FAR from what you have been in our home. Let me assure you, my little guy, that you are rarely left alone or left to fuss. In fact, it has become very clear that you are so used to constant company, noise, and commotion, that you begin to fuss when you realize that you are alone in a room.
You have continued to be a fairly easy little guy. You sleep well at night and nap well all day. At times we have to pat your tush to help you fall asleep, but it is still pretty easy.
About a month ago you learned to roll from your back to your belly and you love to do it! We, of course, love to watch you! If someone puts you down on the floor on your back, you immediately curl up those little legs and roll over. You love to be on your belly and play!
We started feeding you baby food last week and you love it! You are my only baby to gobble up plain rice cereal and plain oatmeal cereal. No one else has ever liked it plain. Sweet potatoes are the only other food we have given you and you love them as well! Oh how I hope this is a sign of good eater!
You enjoy playing in your saucer now and on your play mats. There are times that I put you in your high chair with a toy or two to look at. You bat at the toys occasionally and try to grab them, but most of your attempts are unsuccessful right now. You are a bit too large for the swings, but they still work a little when we need somewhere safe to let you hang out.
Your siblings adore you and love to make you laugh. They play with you, talk to you, and just love all over you. We let you lay in D’s room at night while he is getting ready for bed. The two of you look at each other and laugh and laugh! The girls sat in my bed today with you during “rest time”. They were playing dinosaurs and talked to you about the dinos and all about their game as if you were one of the players! It is a true joy to watch your relationship develop with each of them.We love you little guy! We are so thankful that you have joined our family. You are a blessing from God and we love you dearly.
Love,
Mommy

He is such a cutie and, yes, I'm sure he's getting quite a bit of attention at home!
What a cutie! I can't believe how big he has gotten! Gotta love the easy going nature! Sammy was that way when he was little.. not so much now ;-)
Time does fly. He is going to cherish this note someday. I can't believe how much he looks like his big sister, T.
