Tiny Talk Tuesday helps parents focus on one of the many joys of parenting - the funny things that our little ones (and sometimes big ones) have to say.
Join in the fun and record the Tiny Talk overheard in your house! Publish a post on your blog and link us to the laughs. Then be sure to link to the blog carnival on this post so more bloggers can join in the fun.
The guidelines can be found here if you need them.

Life around here is CRAZY, but fun! My brother got married this weekend (YAAAAY!) and the holidays are upon us. All of the out of town family is here for an extended stay. And on top of that, I have four kids...LOL! So there isn't much blogging going on, but the Tiny Ones always talk, and sometimes, I remember...
We were driving in the car and I overhead a conversation K (age 7) and T (age 5) were having about something going as high as heaven...
T: What if it went past heaven?
K: Nothing is past heaven. It is deadland.

The girls had a blast at my brother's wedding reception. As we were leaving, T (age 5) began crying...
T: I am going to miss this place. Can we come here again?
Mom: Honey. This is just a big empty room most days. People pay to use it to have parties.
T: (still sobbing) Can I have my birthday party here?

D (age 2) loves to watch the water go down the tub drain. He says that it goes to the ocean.
Tonight he pulled out the stopper on the drain and let us know, "I'm to big to go to the ocean."
(guess he had to ease his own concern there)

Deadland?! LOL! HAHAHAHAHA!
T's comment after the wedding reception sounds just like something my David would say. Whenever we're leaving somewhere that he especially liked, he'll sigh and say wistfully, "I wish I could live here." I've tried explaining, for example, that a park at night when it's raining really wouldn't be that much fun, but he doesn't really get it...so these days, I just say, "I know. You've really had a great time here, haven't you?" :)
Deadland--that's great! I love the way kids try to grasp ideas about God and heaven and eternity.
I love that they are always trying to "make sense" of situations:) Always processing:)
We are joining in for the 1st time:)
hehe I love the birthday party story! Glad D can't fit down the drain and end up in the ocean. ;-)
Deadland....hee hee. And you gotta love the party drama... :).
Really, you just have to get K's education squared away. She'll take it from there with the rest of them!
I've given you a blog award! Check it out: http://mamakenzstudio.blogspot.com/2009/11/honored-again.html
