Five...

Five years?

More like five minutes.

Yes, my dear Tricia, I blinked and you turned five. I tried to talk you into staying four, but you adamantly refused. I think you partly wondered how serious I was.

You are a beautiful girl, both inside and out. You bring so much joy to our lives everyday. And no matter how big you get, how much you can do on your own, and how independent you grow...you'll always be my baby.

Happy Birthday my dear Tricia!

Oh so sweet! She is all smiles on her special day:)
My oldest turned 10 this week so I am right there with you. He will be my baby for the rest of his life.

What a sweetie! I feel like as you look at the progression of pictures you can see her start to look like you. Hope her day is special!

As my girls got older they would ask me what I wanted for my birthday or for Christmas. I would always answer by telling them I wanted "good girls" and "for them to stop growing". I guess I have pretty good girls, but the growing part sure went down the drain :)

Love her while she is little Mary. I promise someday she will be 25 and you will wonder how in the world time passed so quickly.
