Tiny Talk Tuesday helps parents focus on one of the many joys of parenting - the funny things that our little ones (and sometimes big ones) have to say.
Join in the fun and record the Tiny Talk overheard in your house! Publish a post on your blog and link us to the laughs. Then be sure to link to the blog carnival on this post so more bloggers can join in the fun.
The guidelines can be found here if you need them.

K (age 6): Mom, I read the word spitefully.
Mom: Wow. That is a big word. Do you know what it means?
K: No. It says the goblin laughed spitefully.
Mom: That is laughing in a mean way.
K: Like Goliath.
Mom: Great example! You are right. Goliath would have laughed spitefully.
K: But we don't really know that he laughed.
(I love the growing vocabulary that reading provides!)

T (age 4): How do people die?
(this gal always drives us into very interesting conversations)
_____________________________________________
D (age 2): I go pee-pee!
(YAAAAY for potty training)

K (age 6): Mommy. I miss my Explode the Code.
(seriously???)

T learned to swim underwater this weekend using snorkel gear. The snorkel gear took away the "water up the nose" issue and she could just kick and paddle underwater as long as she wanted with no worries. She love it!
Of course, now she is convinced that "the snorkel makes me float".

(The code for the Mr. Linky is here, but the site is having major issues, especially for "standard" members. If the Linky doesn't show up, just leave a comment with your blog address so I can come by!)

Mr. Linky recently made changes to their server. Did you delete the blenza code from your header? I think that's the first step in fixing things up...
Hip-hip-hooray for D!!!
hehe love the spitefully story! Yay for pee pee in the potty!
Whaa for Mr Linky....
I posted today.
Any tips to get GIRLS to pee pee in the potty? Adeline has zero interest.
Hooray for potty training!! I can't wait to hear the phrase: Mom, I need to go pee-pee!! After too long of a break, I am hopefully back on board with TTT posts again!

Happy TTT! I love that she loves her schoolwork - can't complain about that, huh? And the connections that they make on their own (Goliath being spiteful!) never cease to amaze me!
We are getting so close to "pee pee" - but not close enough! Here's my link:

I snorkled once in the ocean in Aruba. I was scared to death, but didn't want to miss out on anything. Maybe I should have learned in my own pool first. Dave got to try scuba in Mexico and really liked it. Tell K that she's doing fantastic! I'm impressed!
