We took our trip to Hershey Park on Saturday for fun.
The girls both came with us, but we left at home, our son. (yes, with grandparents)
K was excited, as she had been before.
We couldn't wait for T to see what was in store.
Chocolate World was our first stop, and a first time for us all.
The girls truly loved this place. They both had a ball.
Into the park we ventured on this bright and sunny day.
There were lots of people everywhere, sometimes in the way.
But through the crowds we wandered until we got to the kiddie spot.
We watched the girls laugh on the swings, even though it was getting hot.
They both enjoyed the first ride and we headed to a pirate ship.
It looked like a lot of fun as back and forth it would tip.
The girls both climbed aboard, eager for their ride.
But as soon as it got going, T froze up inside.
Very quickly on the outside, we could see her fear.
And we had to stop the ride when she began to shed a tear.
We both looked in shock at our "daredevil" child
Who clearly did not like this ride, although it was mild.
It took a bit of effort, but we got her to calm down.
But very quickly her little smile, was back into a frown.
You see, at the time we did not know it, but noise is not T's thing!
Everytime a roller coaster was in earshot, this is the reaction it would bring:
Now, roller coasters are hard to hide from at an amusement park,
So T's day was clearly interesting as we stayed until dark.
The Water Park was great and we were no longer hot.
It was the worst place for T, but K's favorite spot.
For the water park is located in a central hub bub of noise:
coasters, fog horns, blasting music, screaming girls and boys.
While K splashed away and ran all around,
Close to her daddy is where T could be found.
Now lest you think poor T hadn't any fun,
most of it was had after the heat of the sun.
So below are a few pics of the good time that was finally had
For when we had to go home, they were both very sad.
